How it works
What we do with your name and your date of birth.
Numerology turns the letters of a name and the digits of a date into a small set of numbers, then reads what those numbers mean together. Here is how NumeroClaw does it, what it shows you, and what it does not claim.
Step one
Your chart is calculated, and shown.
Every letter has a value from 1 to 9. The letters of your full birth name add up to your Expression number; the vowels alone give your Soul Urge; the consonants give your Personality number. The digits of your date of birth add up to your Life Path. The day of the month stands on its own as your Birthday number. Each is reduced to a single digit, except 11, 22 and 33, which the method keeps as they are.
The same inputs always give the same numbers. Your reading shows every one of them with the arithmetic that produced it, so you can check them by hand, and so two readings of the same person always agree.
Life Path 1990-05-17 → 1+9+9+0+0+5+1+7 = 32 → 3+2 = 5
Expression A·V·A S·T·O·N·E → 1+4+1 + 1+2+6+5+5 = 25 → 7
Soul Urge A·A·O·E → 1+1+6+5 = 13 → 4
Personality V·S·T·N → 4+1+2+5 = 12 → 3
Step two
The reading is written from the whole chart.
A list of numbers with a paragraph each reads the same for everyone who shares those numbers. In a chart the numbers interact: an Expression that likes structure and a Soul Urge that wants movement will show up as a particular kind of restlessness, not as two unrelated traits.
The method NumeroClaw uses was developed with Evan Verdier, a practicing numerologist. It starts from the pattern at the center of your chart, maps which numbers reinforce it and which ones push against it, and only then writes: about twenty pages for a Theme, five chapters for a Name Analysis, five short ones for a Birthday Portrait. Our software does the writing, from your chart alone. Nobody reads your reading before you do.
Step three
It reaches you by email, and stays yours.
You pay once, by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, with no account to create. A Theme or a Name Analysis is usually ready within a few hours and always within 6 hours. A Birthday Portrait is ready within minutes. We email you a private link to the web edition; the PDF downloads from the same page.
The link is private and does not expire. Keep the email: it is your way back to the reading.
Plainly
What the reading does not claim.
- It does not predict. No events, no dates, no health, money or relationship outcomes. It describes patterns and gives you words for them. What you do with that is yours.
- It is not science. Numerology is a tradition with its own method. We apply that method carefully and show our arithmetic. We make no scientific claim for it.
- It is not a diagnosis, and not advice. Nothing in a reading replaces a doctor, a therapist, a lawyer or an accountant.
- It is not written by a person. The method is a numerologist's; the writing is our software's, chapter by chapter, from your chart alone.
- A Birthday Portrait is about a day, not about you alone. Everyone born on the 28th shares its pattern. The Theme is the reading of you.
- Latin alphabet, English only. Names are calculated from the Latin alphabet. If your name is written in another script, use the Latin spelling on your passport.
Your details
What we keep, and what we never do with it.
- We use your name and date of birth to calculate and write the reading, and we store them with it so the private link keeps working.
- We use your email to send the payment confirmation and the reading. We do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
- Names, dates and reading content never go to advertising or analytics tools. Those tools, when you allow them, see which pages were visited and that a purchase happened, nothing more.
- Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card number.
- The privacy policy has the full version.
If something goes wrong
Money back, in money.
- If your reading has not arrived after 6 hours, write to hello@numeroclaw.com with your order number. We find it or refund you.
- If the reading is materially wrong, such as a wrong number, a name we misread, or a missing chapter, write within 14 days of your order and we refund the payment.
- Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within a few business days. We do not offer vouchers in place of money.
The method's author
Built with a practicing numerologist.
Evan Verdier reads for clients in private practice and worked with us on the method, the structure of each reading, and the standard the writing has to meet.
I help build NumeroClaw because I believe numerology can be a real force for good in people's lives. In my private practice, the number of people I can help is naturally limited.
